Two different timelines. Technical readiness — making your site something AI can read, understand and trust — lands fast, often within days of publishing the fixes. Being seen and cited in AI answers takes longer: engines have to re-crawl and re-index you, and citations also depend on off-site authority (listings, mentions and links) that builds over weeks to months. In short, you can become ready quickly, but getting cited is earned over time — we recommend re-scanning after about 4–8 weeks to track real movement.
